Our Mission Statement is:
'Knowing Jesus and making Him known'
As part of the world-wide Christian church, Baptists form one of the largest families of faith. For Baptists the concept of a family is important. The church is not so much a particular place or building, but rather a family of believers, committed to Christ, to one another and to the service of God in the world. We are a self-governing, body of believers, affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, through whom we support Home Mission. Denominationally, we also support BMS World Mission. We believe that every member of the Church who is open to the Holy Spirit should have a ministry that will be a blessing to the Church.
